We learnt a lot on our last expedition. A lot of the lessons were pretty harsh. Particularly harsh was the realisation that making people as excited as you are about daring to explore the most formidable parts of our planet is not quite as straightforward as one might at first think.
However, it wasn't long before we figured out that the news media needed an angle, and learnt the realities of what those angles could possibly be. For the size of our endeavour on Northpole2006, we had quite a bit of success. Here's a selection of the coverage we inspired:
